Jessica Alba’s The Honest Co. files for $100 million IPO, in comeback

Jessica Alba files for $100 million dollar IPO in total offering after sales of @honest company sky rocketed during the COVID-19 pandemic. The surge in sales came from an overnight increase in consumer demand for baby products, lotions and sanitizers. @honest revenues jumped by at approximately 28% to $300 million for the year ended Dec. 31. The highest profit generators included diapers and wipes accounting for about 2/3 of all retail sales. Over the years, The Honest Co. has dealt with its fair share of lawsuits around incorrect product labeling in the categories of personal care products as natural, plant-based or chemical-free, that have since been settled.
